Scheduled passenger airline formed as Commercial Air in 1994. Operations commenced on April 28, 1995 as Western Pacific Airlines, using Boeing 737-300s. Airline operated a hub and spoke network throughout western states from its hub at Colorado Springs. In 1997 airline started to merge with Frontier Airlines, but this process was halted once Frontier discovered more details about WPs financial situation. In February 1998 airline filed for bankruptcy protection and ceased to trade.
