Founded in November 2017 as Anisec Luftfahrt GmbH, a subsidiary of IAG, the airline originally planned to operate as "Vueling Austria". However, it began services in July 2018 from Vienna under the 'Level' brand and plans to launch services to 14 destinations from the Austria city. Due to the COVID pandemic, flights were suspended in March 2020, and on June 18 the airline entered bankruptcy.
