Scheduled full service domestic airline commenced operations in September 1998.
Airline provides service between Haneda, Sapporo, Kobe, Okinawa, Asahikawa and Fukuoka. In 2008 it handled over 3 million passengers and employed over 1,000 people. Experienced financial difficulties in late 2014, filed for bankruptcy Jan 2015. Cancelled orders for A380's and withdrew all A330's from service.
In April 2015 ANA Holdings (parent of ANA Airways) acquired 19.9% stake in company. Integral Investment Fund will retain 50%.
