Airline was founded in 1966 With the name Busy Bee Air Services to provide executive jet service in Norway, and had a small fleet of propellers too. 2 Aztecs and one Lear Jet 23 formed the startup in 1966, and where changed to 2 Navajos and 3 HS.125s from 1968. In January 1973 the name was changed to Airexecutive Norway, and the small props and bizjets was changed with 3 Skyvans starting in 1973, and in addition the last three F.27s in the fleet of Braathens SAFE was transferred to Airexecutive between 1975 and 1977. Addtional F.27s were added.
Airline started to provide charter service and landed major Norway Military Transport contract which resulteted in the order of a convertible B737-200C. In september 1980 the airline switched the name back to Busy Bee of Norway. Airline also held wet leasing contract with Braathens to operates its regional turboprop services on the western coast of Norway. Airline also operated Boeing 737-200s on its charter network throughout Europe.Through the 1980s more F27s were added, scheduled services were also flown for SAS on the flights to Haugesund and Gothenborg. From 1988 5 New Fokker 50s were also added. In 1991 the airline lost its military contract and could not compensate for lost revenue. Its Braathens contract was purchased by Norwegian Air Shuttle and airline went into liquidation at the end of 1992.
