Founded as sister company of Malmo Aviation, Transwede specializes in wet/ACMI leases to other carriers. When Malmo Aviation was acquired by Per Braathens (Braganza Sweden AB) it changed its name to Braathens Aviation. Transwede received its AOC in May 2005 and operations commenced February 13th 2006 when scheduled route between Stockholm Arlanda and London City Airport was flown using BAe 146 aircraft . Transwede operates flights on behalf of Air One (Milan) and Malmo Aviation (Stockholm Bromma - Gothenburg)
