note
Precision began flying as an all-cargo carrier using Beech 18s. Scheduled passenger services began in June 1977 using Piper Navajos. A small fleet of Twin Otters was added in the early 1980s, but the entire fleet was shortly replaced with Dornier 228s. Precision offered service within New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts as well as Long Island and White Plains in New York. On May 1, 1986 it became an Eastern Express Carrier. The airline suspended operations on March 10, 1989 due to Eastern's bankruptcy. It resumed flying on May 22 as a Northwest Airlink carrier. By the end of the year, it had been acquired by Northeast Express. Due to financial problems at its parent company, Precision filed for bankruptcy on May 28, 1994 and ceased operations on June 20.
