Florida Express was hub and spoke low-cost airline operating from its base at Orlando International airport throughout Florida, Southeastern USA and Mid Atlantic. Operations commenced in January 1984 using BAC 1-11 aircraft. Airline was acquired by Braniff on January 15, 1988. After its acquisition, Braniff continued to operate the airline separately as Braniff Express before full integration in March 1988. Ended "Flexair" callsign on January 21, 1989.
