Formed by former Flagship Airlines (Nashville Eagle) execs. Began service January 1996 linking Nashville with points in Tennessee and neighboring states. Began code sharing with Midway at Raleigh June 1997. Changed name to Corporate Airlines November 1, 1997. Began operating as TW Express at St Louis May 2000, replacing Trans States which was phasing out Jetstream 32s. Became American Connection after TWA merged. Changed name to Regionsair on December 31, 2004. Began Continental connections services in May 2006. The airline was grounded by the FAA on March 8, 2007 after the FAA found fault with check airman training.
