note
Originally founded in the 1950s as Bob Harris Flying Service, it was renamed Yute Air Alaska in 1974. After a sale in 1988, the company filed for bankruptcy in 1999 and ceased operations. Its certificates were acquired by Flight International in April 2000 and the company was renamed Flight Alaska. It provided scheduled services as well as mail and contract services. In 2004, the company was sold to Tim Vottis and the airline was downsized to one hub at Bethel. It ceased operations on March 5, 2017 due to "marketplace challenges". Its hangar and aircraft were sold to Hageland Aviation.
