Founded in October 2006 as a subsiduary of South African Airways. Operates low-cost domestic flights between Johannesburg, Bloemfontain, Durban, Lanseria , George and Cape Town since November 15th 2006. Took over demised 1Times Johannesburg-Zanzibar-Johannesburg route 2012.. Ops ceased 28 Feb 2021 due to ACSA (Airports Company South Africa) withdrawing operation support due non-payment of airport landing and parking fees etc. Was due to cease ops for "A few months" from 01 May 2021 due funding. Remains to be seen if airline will resume ops thus change of status to "Defunct" resumed limited service 07 May 2021. Airline terminated 2022
