FFX JH Flex Linhas Aereas Flex Brazil

note

Non-scheduled passenger subsidiary of VARIG's legal successor Nordeste Linhas Aereas. Airline was originally intended to commence low cost scheduled passenger flights in March 2008 between Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Recife. In the end, company operated mostly on behalf of other carriers on short term bases. It had an agreement with VRG Airlines (another successor of original VARIG which was purchased by VARIGLOG and later sold go GOL Linhas Aereas) to operate fixed amount of hours per month, hence Flex sometimes operated GOL's flights. Airline ceased operations on 20th of August 2010 due to insolvency and TRIP Linhas Aereas took over most of its routes.
