OneJet operates scheduled flights using Beechjet aircraft. Operating as public charters, flights began April 6, 2015 between Indianapolis and Milwaukee. Flights were added in May from Pittsburgh to both Indianapolis and Milwaukee, followed by Indianapolis-Memphis in June, and Indianapolis-Nashville in September. OneJet offers preferred pricing to corporations who buy seats in bulk. Initially, flights were operated by Pentastar Aviation. In February 2016, it was decided to move its focus city from Indianapolis to Pittsburgh. The Indianapolis operations were wound down on March 31, 2016; in June 2016, it resumed Pittsburgh-Indianapolis/Milwaukee service, and added Pittsburgh-Hartford service, followed by Pittsburgh-Cincinnati/Louisville it July. Its flight operations were transferred to Corporate Flight Management (now Contour Aviation) in June 2016. Its fleet was eventually expanded to include 6 Beechjets, an ERJ-135, and and ERJ-145, the larger aircraft being marketed as OneJet Plus. In April 2018 it announced plans to acquire Ultimate JetCharters. In June it replaced Beechjets with Dornier 328JETs operated by UJC in the Hartford and Indianapolis markets. A disagreement with operating partner, Contour, ended the Beechjet and Embraer flying in June, leaving only Hartford/Indianapolis-Pittsburgh and Buffalo-Albany as its only routes. Meanwhile the Pittsburgh Airport Authority filed a breach of contract lawsuit, claiming the company failed to live up to a promise to serve 10 cities from Pittsburgh, which was a part of an agreement by which OneJet was provided $1 million in incentives. A few days later, the IRS filed a lien against the company for nonpayment of excise taxes. Shortly thereafter, on August 27, the company suspended operations, and it was announced that the agreement to acquire UJC had been terminated.
