Transportes Aéreos Mercantiles Panamericanos S.A., operating as Tampa Cargo, is a cargo airline based at José María Córdova International Airport in Medellín, Colombia. It is a specialized all-cargo airline transporting flowers from Latin America to Miami, as well as general cargo throughout the Americas. It has hubs at El Dorado International Airport (BOG), Bogotá, José María Córdova International Airport (MDE), Medellín, Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ), Barranquilla and Miami International Airport (MIA). The airline was established by Luís H. Coulson along with Orlando Botero Escobar and Anibal Obando Echeverri. It started operations on 11 March 1973. Martinair of the Netherlands acquired a 50% stake in Tampa Cargo in 1996. Avianca of the Colombia acquired a 100% stake in Tampa Cargo in 2008. Re-branded Avianca Cargo Jun 2013
