UNI Airways is regional airline subsidiary of EVA Air which is subsidiary of Evergreen Container Shipping giant. Airline was formed in 1998 when EVA Air, majority holder, merged it with its other subsidiary Great China Airlines. UNI Airways operates dense domestic network throughout Taiwan and also serves secondary cities in mainland China from its hub at Sung Shan, Kaohsiung and Taipei. Xiamen, Wuhan, Nanjing, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Kunming, Hangzhou, Dalian and Qingdao are served as well as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. UNI Airways also operates charter flights throughout East and South East Asia.
