LVG LM Livingston Livingston Italy

note

The airline was established on 13 January 2003 and started operations in May 2003. Lauda Air Italy had been established in 1990 and was majority-owned by the Volante company, itself controlled by Niki Lauda, while the remaining sharers were with Gruppo Ventaglio. On 31 March 2003, Gruppo Ventaglio purchased Volante's share and integrated Lauda Air Italy with Livingston under the parent company Livingston Aviation Group. It is wholly owned by Viaggi del Ventaglio Group and has 144 employees (at March 2007). On 9 October 2010, Livingston announced that flights were to be temporarily suspended after ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) suspended their licence. The full effect of the suspension will take place from midnight 14 October 2010. In December 2011 RT Srl an Investment company acquired 100% of outstanding shares of now bankrupt Livingston Energy Flight. New company Livingston Compagnia Area is established and all assets outstanding are transferred to the new company including some of the layed off employees.
