note
Metro Express II began operations early in 1985 as a separate subsidiary of Metro Airlines, flying Jetstream 31s on American Eagle routes from Dallas/Ft. Worth. With Metro Airlines' acquisition of Chaparral Airlines, routes and aircraft of Metro Express II were turned over to Chaparral on October 1, 1987. Metro Express II became a FedEx feeder operator and changed its name to Starlite Express, which used Shorts 330s. Starlite Express ceased operations in 1991.
