Regional airline founded by Walter 'Stubb' Ross in Lethbridge Alberta as Lethbridge Air Service in 1957. Scheduled service commenced in 1966 and expanded quickly because Air Canada withdrew from Lethbridge market one year later. Airline provided scheduled passenger and cargo service to Western Canada and Northern USA from its hub at Lethbridge. In 1987 Canadian Airlines acquired a minority interest in Time Air, then acquired a 100% ownership in January 1991. The airline was rebranded as Canadian Regional Airlines in April 1993 but continued to operate independently until July 1998.
