note
Arkefly is all-inclusive leisure tour and charter airline owned by TUI Group, the largest tour operator in Europe.
After Holland Exel went bankrupt in 2004, TUI Group bought the airline and renamed it ArkeFly with operations commencing in September 2005.
The airline serves the Mediterranean and Red Sea resorts as well as Bourgas on the Black Sea. It's long-haul operations include resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, Gambia, Kenya and Nepal.
Arkefly shortened it's name to Arke in May 2013 to reflect the partnership with the travel agency of the same name.
In October 2015 the airline name was changed to TUI Airlines Netherlands.
