Regional Airline providing feeder service for major airlines using De Havilland DH-104 Dove converted to turboprop and known as Railey Turbo Exec 400. Airline started operations in 1975 serving Auburn Alabama from its base at Atlanta. In 1977 Southeastern Commuter Airlines name was adopted as the service expanded to other cities in Georgia, Tennesee, South Carolina and northern Florida. In 1982 airline acquired Embraer EMB-110s and undergone massive expansion at its hub in Atlanta which put financial stress on the company and therefore made it vulnerable to takeover. In April 1984 Southern Airlines was merged into ASA.
