note

Domestic scheduled passenger and cargo airline. Airline was founded by merger of two domestic airlines TOA Airways and Japan Domestic Airways. In October 1980 first wide body aircraft, Airbus A300 joined the fleet. In 1984 TDA founded its regional subsidiary Japan Air Commuter. TDA was rebranded into JAS Japan Air System in April 1988 as result of deregulation of Japan airline market.
